What team fees cover.
 
Player registration fees cover:

• the first hour of ice time per week
• base referee costs
• Provincial and National membership fees for players and team staff
• Insurance fees for players and team staff
• Equipment, including jerseys, pucks, nets, etc..
• Pre-season conditioning camps
• Training for team staff
• General association operating costs

 
Team Fees cover:         

• Ice time beyond the first hour
• Additional referee costs resulting from longer games or league rules
• Hockey PEI League fees
• Gamesheet fees
• Hockey PEI Provincials fees

 
Any tournaments that are pre-paid by the Association for a team will be invoiced separately and will also be due for payment no later than December 31, 2025.
 
Teams will also be required to pay a refundable jersey deposit of $400 to ensure jerseys are returned in good condition and in a timely manner.
 
Most teams choose a combination of fundraising and player contributions to cover these costs.
 
It is the responsibility of team coaches/managers to communicate with the Ice Scheduler regarding any changes in ice times.
